Information om ansökan till Familjen Einhorns stiftelse

Familjen Einhorns stiftelse delar ut medel till projekt som syftar till att befrämja hälsa, främst hos barn, i låg- och medelinkomstländer. De flesta projekt som tilldelas medel är vetenskapliga. Ansökningar där medlen planeras att förbrukas i låg- och medelinkomstländer prioriteras.

Ansökningar behandlas kontinuerligt. I vissa fall skickas ansökningar till granskare för extern expertbedömning. Ibland bjuds sökanden in för att presentera sitt projekt personligen.

Årligen delar stiftelsen ut cirka en miljon kronor.

Instruktioner för ansökan till Familjen Einhorns stiftelse

Ansökan ska vara max 4 sidor inklusive referenser. Den populärvetenskapliga beskrivningen ska vara max 1/2 sida lång.

Populärvetenskaplig beskrivning

Beskriv projektet utan att använda facktermer så att innehållet är lätt att förstå för läsare utan medicinsk skolning.

 

Syfte och målsättning

Beskriv kort varför projektet är viktigt och vad syftet är och beskriv i punktform vilka mål som projektet har.

Bakgrund

Beskriv vilken kunskap som finns om inom området och identifiera de kunskapsluckor som projektet syftar till att fylla.

Etiska ställningstaganden samt etikgodkännande

Medel betalas ut när etiskt godkännande finns men måste inte finnas vid ansökan.

Betydelse (Vetenskaplig och för att förbättra hälsa)

Från annat håll sökta eller erhållna medel för projektet.

Information regarding applications to The Einhorn Family Foundation

The Einhorn Family Foundation supports projects aiming at promoting health, mainly among children in low- and middle-income countries. Most projects receiving support are scientific. Applications aiming at using the donations in low- and middle-income countries are prioritized

Applications will be evaluated continuously. Some applications are sent to external reviewers. Applicants may be invited to present their projects personally.

The total sum awarded yearly is around one million SEK.

Criteria for evaluation of projects:

  1. Scientific quality
  2. Originality
  3. Potential to contribute to better health
  4. Potential to contribute to increased knowledge

 

How to apply

The application should not exceed four pages including references. The popular scientific description should not exceed half a page.

Popular scientific description

Describe the project without the use of technical terms, so that it is understandable for a person without medical education.

 

Aims and goals

Describe in a few words the aims and why the project is important. Present in bullet points the goals of the project.

Background

Describe today’s knowledge regarding the area of the project and identify the gaps of knowledge that need to be filled.

Ethical standpoints and ethical approval

Applications can be evaluated before there is an ethical approval, but the grant can not be received before there is one.
